About Pradeep Das
Pradeep Das is director, business development & strategy, at Pitney Bowes. Pradeep has held several positions in product development, business development, strategy and new business opportunities. He was named Pitney Bowes 2010 Inventor of the Year for his United States Patent No. 7,774,283, entitled Method and System for Using a Camera Cell Phone in Transactions.
Das led the architecture of several complex mail integrated solutions for high volume mailers such as American Express and DST and developed innovative Pitney Bowes customer communication solutions with Siebel and Group 1 components. Das was also the principal in the development of several web based products.
Prior to joining Pitney Bowes, Das worked for United Parcel Service where he was integral to the development of Maxicode technology and its application to several UPS hubs. He was also the principal architect in pioneering hand held scanning technology that is prevalent today.
Das has a BS in accounting from Andhra University India, a BS in Computer Engineering from Gulbarga University, India, MS in Computer Engineering from University of Bridgeport and a MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Das is also a recipient of several patents.
